Not for me but nice to read the A grade got a win on past players day, great time to break the losing streak. B's and C's thrashed again so this season can't end quickly enough.

just saw the footage from inside the changerooms after the Havens win on the ADFL Facebook page. I have to say, the lighting seems sufficient.

I am aware of that.
The away rooms were terrible. Also with the massive bag of empty beer cans was a welcoming aroma to the rooms

Uni v PNU one of the comically worst games of football I’ve seen in life.

Scores flatter each side.

Win’s a win

Without access to record books all i can tell you is not as long as the mid 90s when i started playing.

Before that on the GrassRoots footy show years ago i vaguely remember someone saying they were the longest reigning club in Div 1 with Broadies being second. That was around 2007-2008 and they both went down. The longest stint in Div 1 now would be Goodwood Saints.

Short answer - No, not if my memory serves me correctly
The PNU Falcs 2005,06,13 x 2,14 and Div 1 Premiers in 2019......The SA 3peat - 2003,04,05

No, I reckon they’re A grade never even played D2 until the mid/late 2000’s (Adding to Wristy’s point). You could also ask when was the last time Henley’s A grade played in D3?
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

I'm not going to go through the record books because I'm too busy on holidays but Uni's longest continuous stint in A1/D1 would have to be decades wouldn't it?

I seem to remember when they went down circa 2009 ish it was the first time they'd ever been below D1 (or its various equivalents).

So presumably a good 100+ year run

A grade has never been in A3 or D3.

Ever.

Watched GG vs Raggies on Saturday.

Bloody Hell Golden Grove is a good side. Will be very hard to stop. All they need to do is win one final now and they will be in D1 for the first time next year.
I know the scoreline shows it but they genuinely made Athelstone look second-rate on the weekend!

2007 both Edwardstown and Adelaide Uni got relegated from Div 1. It was the first time in Uni’s history they were in Div 2. I was Towns reserves coach and they played each other in round 17 or 18 at Edwardstown with Towns winning. The Uni faithful were pretty despondent about relegation. Hard to imagine such a great club could end up in Div 3. Hopefully for them they can hold on.
