I’ve just seen it too.
How can it be not out?
It’s out everyday of the week.

Hey Wanker, heard of Phil Hughes? A friend to these blokes. Show some respect you dickhead.
Nathan Lyon's response to Pieterson's comments.

I think Pietersen is being taken out of context and only talked about it as a hypothetical.
And the fact it was even in anyone's mind is because of the bullsh!t England were serving up and were allowed to get away with.

Hypothetical or not it doesn’t need to be said. Period!
Just on this as I just watched Jarrod Kimbers day 4 review video and he made a good point, he questioned why England was bowling short to Lyon to begin with because if Lyon was to get hit in the head while batting and possibly get concussed then he can obviously be replaced by Todd Murphy therefore giving Australia a fit bowling option. Maybe people thought Lyon going out to bat was silly but England's tactics to bowl short to him were silly too.

1/ The Starc catch last night was clearly NOT OUT and cant believe how many are arguing the point.
It's beyond belief that Starc seemed to deliberately place the ball on the ground and give reason for the legality of it to be questioned.
Practically ALL fielders when diving for a catch always do everything to ensure that after they take the catch that they doing everything possible to keep the ball away from the green stuff. It's just instinctive. Again i just cant understand what Starc was thinking ?

2/ Why are Australia bowling this short rubbish when every ball that's pitched up atm looks a good chance of getting a wicket ?
think once they get 1 wicket the rest will follow pretty quick

And, it's good to see the umpires have decided to call wides and over the shoulder balls today. How about doing the same yesterday ya plebs!

If they pitch it up they don’t need to worry about wides when bowling short.
Starc the only one to worry them this morning

FlyingHigh wrote:Apart from the decision being horsesh!t, the question I have is about the involvement of the third umpire. Do they check all catches, are they allowed to get involved of their own volition, or do they have to be reviewed to by the on-field umpires? I always thought it was the latter, and did it happen in this case? Im not aware that the umpires did, i was watching at the time

But Australia messed up in that last hour of play by going back completely to that short ball stuff to Dunkett. 4-down for bugger all, why not really attack him with some quick bowling at the top of off and 2 slips and 2 gullies. See whether he really is Test Match material.
They did this first and to be fair Dunkett absolutely smashed them behind point

And can you imagine some of players in the past putting up with that short pitch stuff for so long (98% in the middle session) and not firing back at the Poms or making some sort of point - "how about bowling it at the ******* stumps" etc etc -like when Chappelli pulled the off stump and banged it in on the edge of pitch coz of deliberate wide bowling.
