Big hit Portland v Mitcham. Just past 44min mark on Dartfish. Will be interesting if the Captain gets away with that one.

I think there is a very very very minor stomach punch from the Mitcham player first to which the Portland player goes whack whack.

Riley Brown kissed on the dick - only player to be found guilty in the last few years of striking > intentional > high > high and a) get less than 6 games and b) get matches suspended in his penalty.

Harley Peters equally as fortunate.

Peters was "careless" not "intentional", there is a difference.

Except he got 7 (2 suspended). So as I said, fortunate.

Come on man seriously. 7 games for a “careless” high bump, downgraded to 5.. tell me where you have seen that previously? I know guys like James Hughes (Para Hills) would’ve loved that courtesy when he was rubbed out for life doing the same thing. I mean shit, even the guideline matrix outlines max 6 games for careless > high > severe - yet your don’t think he was fortunate??

Hard to not think or buy into the rhetoric of prejudice towards clubs from “low socioeconomic” areas, when you see some of the outcomes and penalties.

Even Wright from Greenacres - I was there for the game, I was 20m away,, a yellow card was all that was required yet copped 3 games for practically nothing.

You’ve changed since returning to Champagne Light Gardens.

Pretty sure it is 5 games with 2 of those suspended

I read it 5 plus 2 suspended? Might be the line that says “plus matches suspended”..

Wrong Beefy. If it says 5 with a 2 in the suspended column it means 7 games total. Serve 5 now and if you get reported and found guilty again in the next 3 years you get those 2 plus what you cop for the latest report. Previous ways of displaying the suspended amount has created confusion but that’s why it now says “plus suspended”. You can only get a suspended component at the discretion of the MRP or Tribunal if you have never been reported before.
