Have to say I find this surprising. (Not saying you're BS'ing)
I'm hearing multiple reports of credit contraction for everyone but especially young people
I was at a bank function last night - they are still using current rates + 3% buffer to check credit

I was surprised too. I asked to look at the offer.

I remember what I was offered when I bought my first home and the difference was remarkable.

They have a very healthy deposit which may have helped them.

Maybe what I think is a lot isn’t to others too but north of $500k for a first home buyer is a lot

Its a lot but if you want a steady real template 3 bedroom 2 bathroom almost unit style in Munno Para West your going to be doing well to get change from $400k. Nevermind what the prices would be closer to the city. Want 4 bedroom and bang your up to around the $500k in MPW.

Just having a real quick look now and if you start talking north eastern suburbs like Modbury your gonnna need $550-$600k for a 3 bedroom.

I suggest they start with a two bed unit in the inner south for around $350-400k and pay as much off as possible in 5 years then sell and get a house. 21/22 years old don’t need a full house the start.

No doubt you rate Andy Reid but by the end of the season i think your opinion will be further enhanced. Very impressive and seems to have a great understanding of the modern athletes. Creates lots of win/wins for him and the players.

That doesn’t give me the shits

I already rate him highly

Lad tells me earlier that he'll be home this arvo, I get two lamb racks out the freezer and thaw them out.

He then rings me to ask to run his wallet out to him as he's going out for some drinks and 8-ball.

Lamb racks for lunch this week I guess.

Had that yesterday too, both lads were meant to be home for dinner so cooked pork fillet and a deboned lamb leg.

Neither ate at home.

Similarly I took the lad to the President's Lunch at Prospect, almost $100 a head but includes a couple of hours of booze.
Take him in an uber to Prospect.
