Attending my first ever book launch. My father was published, but I don’t recall him having a launch.

No matter. The venue was a funky Irish Wiskey bar in Northcote.

Book Title: **** that.

Author: Lazaros Zigomanis.

It’s semi bio graphical based on Les’s life as a teenager in the tough Northern suburbs of Melbourne, growing up in a Greek household, in the 80’s.

As they say, do yourselves a favour…

Driving North up Marion rd today around 3 pm, got stuck in the left lane right across from the Marion hotel. Traffic in that lane was just stopped. Eventually charged into the right lane when there was a break and then saw the cause: the independent petrol station still had ULP for $1.75 or thereabouts, and the queue to get in snaked out to the main road and halfway down to the OTR. Pure gridlock.

That Liberty on Marion Rd is saving our prices down South, they dont budge when the others put their prices up and they end up having to drop theirs down or get no business, its fantastic to see.

Almost every other industry needs to explain why prices go up except the petrol industry, complete manipulation.

The Liberty on the corner of Mooringe Ave & Morphett Rd hasn’t budged either.
