I actually think one of the reasons the Crows have been more consistent in recent years, and not the yo-yo team they were in their early years in the competition, is attracting better quality top ups, especially under Godden. But before we get there, you also need to remember that captain Matthew Wright, as well as Jack Madgen will also play. Top ups likely to feature in finals include Jay Boyle, who has had a consistent year coming off a very good year last year; Riley Clamp who has put in some very decent performances, including a 4 goal game at Prospect in round 5; Blayne O'Loughlin who the Crows have under the SANFL rooky program and has some real talent. Other possibles include Hugh Haysman, former West Adelaide premiership player, former Eagle Louis Sharrad, and former South defender Jaiden Kappler.

Matt Crouch is out of contract, but at this stage, haven't heard that he won't play. The other one I'm waiting for news on is Strachan, who injured his wrist and has missed the last two games, but he's been taken off the injury list.

Was it last year that the AFL regulars deferred Mad Monday until the SANFL Team was finished so they could all celebrate together?

I would think McKenzie plays as a top up Crow, given his eye catching efforts in last years finals.
