I view them like the Police Band.

1 highly trained elite horse can do crowd control work equal to 10 human officers.

They might have 32 active horses but not all of them are elite trained and walk down Hindley Street on a Friday & Saturday.

Found Giant pine scale in them which is a massive bio security risk. The bugs suck the sap from pines and could wipe out the pine industry if it gets out.

Thanks for the info Jim, I saw all the felled trees yesterday and just assumed it was clearing for houses. Also noticed over the past few weeks some trees within the reservoir reserve had been cut down, removed for the same reason presumably?

Cheers for that. Hopefully they can contain it, hate to see all the trees around the reservoir go. Although a good opportunity to replace with natives.
