He obviously wasn’t up to it but cost them nothing as they walked him through the PSD didn’t they?

And seems as if Borlase is holding on unless we can get some back up defenders otherwise he's gone
Fair call on all of them I would think.

Not sold on Borlase. He looks gassed all the time, and is very slow.

If he was outside the club you probably wouldn't chase him. Given Murray is out, Doedee is most likely gone or out injured you need someone back there and key backs don't come along cheap.

After years spent in elite pathways systems, and 5 years on an AFL list, his kicking is still horrible. Wouldn't be many top 20 picks that don't get an offer past their initial 2 year deal, like happened to him at GWS. There's a reason the Crows got him for nothing.

That being said, he'll be a great SANFL player, like Tom Lewis, Casey Voss, Jimmy Rowe, and like Tsitas was for the Eagles. Some players just aren't AFL types, no matter how hard they want it.

What I've seen of him he's a slow thinker, doesn't act quickly with ball in hand and gets caught or put under pressure a lot.

I hear he is a very keen surfer with a love of Middleton.

Just so happens I have a job begging that comes with a house not far from there.

So is Borlase any good?
Haven't seen many crow games.
Does he have any trade value?

Agree. A first round pick (initially, we did get him cheap), I was hoping he would come good for us but he never really got going. Couldn't cement a spot in a losing side the last few years, I predicted he would be one to go but disappointing still.

Chris Burgess has told tge Subs he wants to be traded to Adelaide

Coming from West Adelaide I was stunned he got his first 4 year contract, cannot believe Adelaide are trading for him. Will be backup only but…
