Is it correct that he and Chris Lynn will both depart before finals?

If so what a complete farce.

How long until CA caves in and approves one of the State associations to sell their franchises to the IPL entities?

With NSW and Victoria having 2....Ripe for picking!

While Travis Head will remain state captain due to his Australian commitments SA Footy favourite Jake Lehmann will be the stand captain for South Australia again this season and Nathan McSweeney will be his deputy.

Lehmann is a good captain imho. Has a good feel for the game, well liked by team-mates and he backs them in. Sound tactically.

However he's had some horror patches with the bat at times. I hope he plays well enough to retain his spot because things become pretty rudderless if the captain loses his way
This is Tony Clifton! A name to respect! A name to fear!

Yes, Lehmann is the right man for the job this season. He did well at the end last year and has been a good first class player for a long time. I hope Daniel Drew consolidates again this season with the bat. I think he is an excellent captain/leader at club level and the type whose game only gets better with the responsibility. Has a hard edge and attacking mindset.

Left out Conway, Buckingham, Carder.

Always worry when Harry at No.6, going in with 5 batters only is a worry. Rely on all rounders like Manenti and McAndrew who can still be hit and miss. Another season of disappointment about to begin :D
