Way too slow.

Hunt looks dreadful. Knicking for boundaries (dropped as I type) and constantly playing the wrong line.

Need 9 an over and Hunt has a SR of 54 after 19 overs.

Playing like Cameron Green.

Hunt goes for 42.

Zero footwork to a slow straight ball pitched well outside off. Good catch by the bowler.

Bit harsh. Steve Smith did run a ball centuries for years for Australia at No.3. Agree Hunt was way too slow. McSweeney similar style to Drew. Difference was we don’t have an Ashton Turner type to score 80 off 40 balls.

Agar cameo was enjoyable! Didn’t pace the chase right and duly fall just short - but credit to WA - their bowling attack and plans are very good, and well supported in the field. Guys like Tye and Behrendorf are masters of their craft.

Very hard to find the boundary dealing with those two hitting a 20c coin on the wide line.

I only saw the run chase. Not a bad effort on a pitch that was doing a bit early. Clearly we lost our way with the ball in the last 15 overs and that was the difference in the game. Batsmen did well. I think we'll score enough runs this year in both formats. It's a fairly solid line up besides who opens with Hunt. I hope they give Smith as many opportunities as they give the likes of Fraser-McGurk and Hunt...

They'll probably wheel out Jake Carder before Smith to try and keep justifying to themselves why they recruited him!!

Interesting, Meredith gets Hughes caught behind but it was declared a dead ball because Merediths rag fell on the ground. Hughes half pulled out but still played a shot.

Actually Jake L was the only batsman who looked like he could provide that knock. A short stint, but he pulled out a couple of cracking shots.

Chased with a lot better method than when we were set a similar total 6 months ago in the Final.

Thornton was horrible.

Agree re Thornton. He looked unplayable in couple of games vs NZ A side, but when he is off, which you can tell with him early, he is so expensive and bowls absolute trash. Shame Dizzy rates him due to his Strikers performances. Has to be dropped for tomorrow.
