Guess my point is a new coach would have more of a view to the future, Ken (understandably in his position) is all in.

Well you’d have to do something to give your job sone security, you guys have won 10.5 games in the past 4 years, whatever you’ve tried clearly hasn’t worked.

Completely agree, Ken has to go for a flag and that is what he is doing, but there is fallout from this strategy and Lord being targeted because Dixon is still there is one of them.

Ken would’ve f****** the Hawthorn dynasty up if coached them during that period.

I just read that he was an hour late for his exit interview and was told not to come to a team exit session.
Now this could be total media BS but there seems to be behavioral issues starting to pile up.
I just hope the bloke gets himself right cause he's a hell of a player to watch.

And here's me waiting for a Jordy or Ginni to be in the news for all the wrong reasons.
I know I know it's only early :D

A Melbourne mate who is pretty one eyed reckons Oliver got addicted to prescription drugs after his attempts to tattoo himself went sour, could be true but unlikely, you dont need a script for Oliver's addiction.

Geez, the offended generation strikes again.

The way I read it was that he was suggesting Oliver's addiction is stupidity or the like.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

The latest is Oliver had been on a 5 day bender with Hunter since their B&F. But its got real serious now, has lost everything, owes team mates thousands and is in a bad way mentally would be the best way of describing it.
Hope he gets the help he needs.
Talk that the club will move Hunter on.

WCE with picks 1 & 22 (and then 36), you would think they might like to get a better hand than that, North have the picks, make sense from WCE's position to do a deal, esp when the Roos might be eyeing off the WA lad and the talk is that this draft is not deep

Then make an offer worth while and stop dicking around with 15, 18 and 21.

Yes we would like more picks especially inside the top 10. That's why the price is 2, 3 and 15.

We are happy to take Pick 1 to thr draft. If you want puck 1, then get serious. Otherwise don't worry about it and concrete on something else.

It doesn't matter what the Vic media commentary is, we don't care how much of a hand out or leg up the AFL is trying to give you.

You want pick 1, then you know what it will take.

North may not need pick 1, still plenty of speculation West Coast won’t take Reid.

So he walked away from Hawks to get out of Melbourne and now wants to go back? Surely he's not part of their plans

Speculation, as in the AFL telling them not to pick him and we'll come to some sort of arrangement.
