Surprisingly, it's not our aging group that's the issue. The underperformers are lads who all should be hitting their prime.
GREEN who doesn't deserve to be in the squad let alone the XI.
CAREY suffering from a potentially career destroying case of Post Bairstow Stress Disorder
CUMMINS been a long time since he has bowled that unplayable jaffa he was capable of
ZAMPA his form has tapered drastically in 2023.

Looks like Green out Stoinis in, out of form replacing out of form :D

At least Stoinis makes his 12 off fewer balls than Green does!

Carey also dropped. He and Green have certainly been given more than enough chances.

Australia win the toss and elect to bowl.

He'd only have one person to blame if that's the case.

TBF...No one is catching that.
But 3 dropped catches off Bavuma (counting Zampas effort).

I've only just started watching the last 15/20 mins, I'm assuming the wicket is flat with hardly any sideways movement for South Africa to be 0/105 from 19 overs a short time ago?

No matter how well we bat and bowl, no show at winning this tournament if we keep fielding like this

Cummins puts down our 4th chance.
Skipper is as cooked as Carey.
I fear we have seen the best of both, and their careers will wane hereon.

The team as a whole looks cooked.

Long time on the road

June-July ashes

August back home

September in SAF and then India for an ODI series and now the World Cup for all of October.

They playing like they’re ready to go home.
