Then make an offer worth while and stop dicking around with 15, 18 and 21.

Yes we would like more picks especially inside the top 10. That's why the price is 2, 3 and 15.

We are happy to take Pick 1 to thr draft. If you want puck 1, then get serious. Otherwise don't worry about it and concrete on something else.

It doesn't matter what the Vic media commentary is, we don't care how much of a hand out or leg up the AFL is trying to give you.

You want pick 1, then you know what it will take.

For a start we aren't giving up 2 & 3 just to go up one slot, secondly have you ever negotiated for anything? Always start with a price you know isnt going to get accepted. 2 & 15 gets it done IMO

It should get it done.
They then dont feel pressured to pick Reid who is lets be honest a major flight risk. They can then take the WA lad who is highly rated, and get pick 15 as a bonus.

Is that like banging two 3’s and a 4 over the weekend and claiming you banged a 10?

I’m guessing we ponied up and overpaid but it is what it is

Gresham has been quite the tease. In the Richardson era was one of the few players we had with a touch of x-factor and class (perhaps peaked in 2018), but he hasn't really developed into the player most St Kilda supporters thought he might. Can do some freakish things but there doesn't always appear to be much happening between the ears. The compo seems about right.

Yes this is how you negotiate.

2,3 and 15.

You starting at 15, 18, 21 is crap.

Reckon the flight risk thing is a huge beat up. West Coast have a pretty good record of keeping players and if they don’t they get a decent pick for him in 2 years time if he wants to go home.
The go home thing feels like a bluff to get West Coast to roll over. They need to stand firm with their price for getting pick 1

Yep agreed.
From what I've heard him say in interviews he just wants to play at the highest level and doesn't care where.
