Speaking of, for the first time in my life I tried toast with vegemite and no marg or butter as we'd ran out.
Yuk, went straight to the shops and bought a new tub of marg.

I’m the complete opposite. Can’t spread Vegemite or jam on toast/crumpet/English muffin with butter.

I'm the same as you, I never have butter with Vegemite/Jam/Peanut Butter on rolls/bread/crumpets.

A well cooked crumpet or 6 with a half kilo of butter on top is the best hang over cure.

#2 turns 17 today and now has his P's, while there is that nervous period letting him go off on his own, there is no longer the daily requirement to drop him the bus stop, work, cricket training, cricket matches (with a game at North Haven coming up  )

Also booked him to drop off and pick up for a few gigs over the next few weeks while he is still keen to do it.

Cracking weekend :

Friday night:
Navy Club Friday night for AC/DC and Angels tributes, drinks at 1970's prices

Saturday:
Bottled a cracking session ale
AFLW on a perfect spring day in the bowling club at Alberton, drinks at 1970's prices
Couple of mates over for some cricket, beer, pizza and bullshit Saturday night

Sunday:
Dumpling Festival with $100 of vouchers Sunday lunch time, bao buns, korean chicken, couple of pales and a G&T or two for the bride.
Even made Mrs Boon happy* by strolling Rundle Mall for an hour before hand window shopping.

All the while getting the weekend washing cycle complete, even finished off the pool start up ready for the week ahead.

Some weekends nothing is great, other weekends when you go non stop are just as good, had a ripper.
PAFC. Forever.

I went the Dumpling festival for the first time as well.
Bao buns and Korean chicken was sensational.
Having the Coopers bar there was a bonus as well!

Did you try the sake from the sake bar?
Not a fan of it normally but it was pretty good.

I went to the festival last year and nearly fell over at the food prices, it was insane, what would usually cost like $8 in a shop was over $20.

The food was great though
