Carey hasn’t been in great form but Inglis seems a huge downgrade. He simply doesn’t look up to it

Forgetting for the moment that we’re Aussies, this is great to watch.

An Afghan win here would be great for the tournament.

Very true

How terrible was Heads dismissal ?
He's a bully on flat tracks but as an opener you have to expect a swinging ball for a few overs at least and have some sort of defensive technique to handle it.

The thing is, whilst there is much discussion about how much more the ball swings at night during the tournament, you still have to bowl to the conditions to take every advantage, which is what the Afghans are doing tonight.

We just bowled too short, and what shits me is that Cummins always seems to bowl shorter when line and length is required. Plus as previously mentioned, Starc had a shocker.

If we do lose which seems likely, the Afghans will deserve it.

Yep, wasting all that energy on the sight board and fielders paid off.

I wouldn’t put 2c on relying on Stoinis and Maxwell pulling this one out, but then again, they are just as capable of doing it if they get going.

That’s being kind, I don’t think he could pick him even if Rashid told him what’s about to come.

Even a bell in the ball wouldn’t have saved Stoinis, did well to last thing long against Rashid.
