Smith just showed the problem with why fans don't embrace the team.
May or may not have been poor decision but accept it and go.

I'm confused (again),
If the technology is used and it shows that the ball isn't hitting the stumps/bails, why is it still given as out?

At least Australia retain the review being umpires call.

It’s a complete joke. The half ball / umpire’s decision malarky is embarrassing.

DRS has consistently shown that umpires are bloody good these days, so get rid of it as it slows things down and becomes an unwelcome spectacle. Just use it in the background for umpire training.

The days of cheating or incompetent (Steve Bucknor says hi) umpires are long gone. Yes, there will be mistakes, but howlers, the supposed original reason for introducing DRS, are largely a thing of the past.
