Ive spruiked Glen sMAshwelL since about the first times i saw him bat and posted he was the next BIG thing
Fraser McBeserk I have posted is the next Glenn MAxwhirlllllllllllllllL , is now the new Glen MAuLswell
70 off 37 wow
He even hit boundaries on the off side , proving heez not just a legside wonder

Shaun Marsh 40+ years old made a majestic 54 off 33 wow

MR dangerous team , and to think De Kock is due for runs

Harry Nielsen took 2 screamers for AS

WHAT THE ...
Score was 5/177
Shaun Marsh got out bowled with one run to get
Joe Clarke at the non strikers end also walked off retired hurt [Joe had also retired hurt earlier in the innings]
Thats the first time Ive seen 2 batsman outgoing and with Rogers and Zampa the next 2 batsmen in going

Time to go Jake

Got me stuffed how he has been given 3 games this year, he is absolutely cooked, he was the same last year, he's not getting any better at his age, why keep doing the same thing and expect to get a different result???
Get Kaan in and if they dont Dizzy needs to go.

I dont think D.Short is doing us any favours either, cost us the game last night, 100 strike rate doesnt cut it for an opener

The Duckworth Lewis farce didnt evolve
ST 7/151[20]
SS 1/34 [4]

At one stage the umps said if the game re-started the equation was
SS to face 1 over and the target 38

So will ask another question
What's easier ?
118 off 96 balls in a full game
4 off 6 balls if they re-started

Tough one but I’d probably rather chase 4 off 6 balls, each to their own though

Finally Strikers drop Weatherald, doubt we will see him ever again.

Payne omitted also, fair call as he just bowled slower balls every delivery last game, no variety and was carted.

Thomas Kelly comes in which is well deserved, assume Thornton plays over Doggett, he normally is very expensive, will play one good game that keeps him in the team for rest of tournament, hopefully that’s tonight

Just seen the team - he's not playing. Dogget and Manenti are in. The conspiracy theorist in me suspects he's not getting a look in because he's playing for a Div 2 club?? :?
