Better to be exploited now while there’s time to do something about it, I hope to see him as a long term player for Australia in the shorter version games.

Wont rule him out but Warner was a more well rounded batter than Fraser McLegsideslap. Warner always had the ability to hit all around the ground. At this stage of his career McGurk seems very leg sided. Has lots of potential though.

I'm not convinced you can take anyone from BBL and assume they'll make Test cricket. BBL is played on a road to start with, with inferior bowlers. In saying that test cricket will soon be made up of C grade bowlers anyway.

BBL Strategy

if rain is around you take the surge in overs 11/12 to ensure you get 2 surge overs.

Brisbane Heat have cost themselves one surge over tonight.

Luckily for them they were on the right side of DLS.

Got lucky they came back on for 10 minutes after the first rain delay to smack a couple of boundaries to get infront of dls

Daisy you have been harsh on Cam Boyce

His performance this season
1/32 (4)
0/25 (4)
1/37 (3) - one bad performance
1/15 (4)
0/28 (4)

Thats very solid for what would be the 2nd spinner with Khan in the team.

Lightning Lancealot of Wickets Morris didnt even get MOTM
Laurie Evans got if for 85* off 28 balls [ batted like Bill Lawry!!!]

That might be the fastest 85 in the BBL ?

Have the stinkers put together the worst bowling squad in BBL history?

Payne, Bazley and Overton have even managed to suck the life out of Wes who was a bit hit and miss, now he’s just miss.

Too much focus on building a squad around players that won’t be around for the whole comp.
