After an incredible 106 from only 103 balls  from Markram. Remarkable innings under the circumstances

30 wickets have fallen for the match with only 4 individual innings of OVER 15 runs

I'll never forget that
Chasing an unlikely 382 to win Aust looked bound for victory until that incredible collapse.

Sarfraz actually took 9/86 not 96 but yes a spell of 7/1 is just unfathomable from a bowler that had a serviceable Test career as a fast bowler that consisted of 55 Tests for 177 wickets @ 32.75

Once again another 2 Test match series :butthead:
1-1
What a riveting 3rd test it could have been

Could be worse though if they ever get a Luckworth Lewis determination in and declare a series winner

Obviously not great for the game but it was fun to watch for the two days.

I want to see the opposite to T20, i want to see a format of the game where they play on absolute landmines and we watch batsmen jump around and struggle, a format where 100 in total wins you the game as the bowlers dominate. Now that would be entertainment.

Would be very entertaining, I've always like watching tests played on seaming/swinging/spinning pitches where the ball dominates the bat more than watching test cricket played on roads.

Yeah 100%

Obviously there needs to be a level of balance between bat and ball but imo 100% if you are to err on either sides pitches should always have a little bit more in them for the bowlers. A 'perfect' test for me to watch would be 275-325 each in the first innings and then 220-250 each in the second innings for a close finish.

I think that's why test series in India my favorite have always been to watch. The only thing that ruins tests in India is how much more adapt they are in those conditions than the opposition. A neutral test series in India would be great fun to watch. Closely followed by tests in England where bowlers never seem to be out of the game.

Thats why i rate Markhams innings so highly last night. Surely his innings % of runs vs the total match runs has to be up there as one of the highest. Maybe an exaggeration but that's up their with the out of this world 200 Maxwell made at the WC.
