Strikers bowling first and Pope straight into the 11

very average bowling attack for the strikers here Thornton, Payne, Boyce, Pope and whoever else

@mal Pretty quiet in this topic, Strikers must of done good last night. ;)
Emphatic win, it's obviously hard for bowlers to keep the runs down at the best of times in T20 but if only they were more consistent with the ball.

Netherlands captain Scott Edwards will replace Quinton de Kock for the Melbourne Renegades.
https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/bbl- ... es-1415472

And also for the Renegades Aaron Finch has retired.
https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/aaro ... er-1415468
Finch is not currently part of Renegades' XI, having previously played on December 23, but the club may give him a farewell outing against Melbourne Stars on January 13 at the Marvel Stadium. Renegades are unlikely to be in contention for a finals spot.

He currently stands as the seventh-highest run-scorer in T20 cricket, with 11,458 runs at 33.70 and a strike rate of 138.21. His highest score of 172 came for Australia against Zimbabwe in 2018.

In the BBL, he is the second-highest run-scorer behind Chris Lynn.
