Welcome to West Adelaide Wyatt Ryan to our list for 2024 and watch him make a huge impact for us!

He comes to us from the Central District Football Club and is now currently playing for Southern Districts in the Northern Territory Football League and will join us at the conclusion of their season. He is 21 years of age and stands at 196cm tall.

Disappointing that Wyatt wasn't given more opportunities at Centrals.
We seem to like recruiting young interstate ruckman who have average football ability.

At 21 and 196cm, he'd want to have elite aerobic capacity to be a decent ruckman. Youngs rucks either need to super tall or an undersized man child to be effective before their mid 20's, I reckon

I googled too, I remember him from the 2021 SA Country Footy Champs in Victor. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

Sorry.

One of the reasons Southern ran all over Central was the Southern U21 players were amongst their best, this fella pretty much rode the bench for Central in the GF.

I didn't say that he was no good or from interstate.
With more opportunity he could be a good ruck/fwd.
I was referring to the fact that over the last few years centrals have picked up untried ruckman from interstate.
They are still very young and not league standard at the moment.
More time spent on local talent might have been the better option.

And Southern played extra's behind the ball on a wet and windy day to clog it up without the 6-6-6 rule in play

Not sure what game you watched, Southern came home like a steam train to win by 43 points after trailing at halftime.

EDIT - https://websites.mygameday.app/round_in ... &pool=1001

DOUBLE EDIT - my bad, they trailed by 3 points at three quarter time, kicked 7.4 to nothing in the last! - https://sanfl.com.au/league/news/2021-t ... s-results/

The Roost and Redleg Talk appear to be outs for 2024....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Following the doubleblue.org forum last year, and the original trendsetters cdfc.info.

The only public fan forum I'm aware of (besides SL.org, natch) is bloodntars.

Is the era of independent SANFL fan fora finally over? How long 'til this august website follows suit?

Many of the Norwood people are now over on Facebook.

I prefer these forums but I'm in the minority.
