Stoinis batting at the moment in the second T20I, see how he goes this innings hey. His last T20 innings at the Adelaide Oval was a good one.

Yep had some trouble with the bat but taking wickets so that'll keep him in the team.daysofourlives wrote:The Dark Knight wrote:@mal

It was yet more evidence that he is no where near the standard required, cant hit the ball off square, bowlers are too quick for him, his eye has gone.
I swear the selectors think he is 25 and still showing potential. He cant be getting picked on his output

Eleven 18 year old Australian cricketers became first time fathers, following on from their older counterparts.locky801 wrote:Jim05 wrote:Eleventy six billion cricketers and the Aussies beat them in yet another tournament

I think its a sign umpires are getting sick of the players crap these days.

I guess it comes down to what defines an appeal.
Came across a bit premeditated from the umpire, almost like he was looking for that and somewhat new the aussie players had been somewhat not showing the umpires enough respect during their appeals.

No way, I'm with the umpire on this one.. not hard to show a modicum of interest in the appeal - instead of just expecting the umpire to go upstairs - reeks of arrogance and laziness by the Aussies.
Lesson learned for them.
Won the game, get over it.

I thought there was something added to the rules for DRS purposes and that you couldn’t appeal after a replay has been shown. Did they show it on the big screen?Eagles2014 wrote:whufc wrote:mots02 wrote:Armchair expert wrote:Can't remember that happening before

Will be interesting to hear if the umpire got this correct. By the following Law, it appears the Aussies could still appeal up until Spencer went to bowl the next ball, which he had not done
31.3 Timing of appeals
For an appeal to be valid, it must be made before the bowler begins his/her run-up or, if there is no run-up, his/her bowling action to deliver the next ball, and before Time has been called.
The call of Over does not invalidate an appeal made prior to the start of the following over, provided Time has not been called. See Laws 12.2 (Call of Time) and 17.2 (Start of an over).
