Not with the money they currently allowed to use now.

why would your hobble your own budget?

It might be out of their hands in terms of the CFB restructuring the Lower/Mid North area.
Country football/netball will look vastly different by 2030 than it currently does. Already several discussion papers produced by the SANFL on how several leagues should move towards.

The APFL are not going to kick out 3 teams. They are an 8 team comp so there is no way the other clubs will push to make it a 5 club comp - it wouldn't survive. They would have to join other comps and that is unlikely. Balaklava applied to join the NEFL a few years ago and got knocked back.

I hear this a lot.. but you know there isn't actually any rule against clubs charging entry fee in the AdFL right? It's more that stuff all clubs are in a position to actually be able to do it.

Do you think they are going to be approved by the ADFL clubs when they are told they will need to pay to get into one minor away game a year. I would doubt it.

Country footy will look very different up in here in 20 years 100% no doubt. Comps will merge etc.

99.9% of country clubs though will fight as much as possible to remain in a country comp of some form though due to the 'country sports hub.' The loss of netball on the same day will be a massive sticking point for most clubs and they will fight to avoid losing that at all costs.

Not sure how much truth, but I heard the SANFL pressured the AdFL last year to be part of a proposed future APFL restructure and were told a no.

Don't pay, don't get in.
Don't get in, don't play.
Don't play, forfeit.

Love to see that haha

I think the entry fees would be just one of many factors a country club wouldn’t want to change. Like I said netball would be a big one and the whole country atmosphere.

Would a two wells or Virginia go to the ammos potentially but I would be completely shocked if they didn’t try and go to the Barossa as first point of call.

I also don’t see the apfl kicking out any teams in the future unless there is a complete restructure of the country comps.

Spectators do.
Players subs cover their admission costs, they get a pass to gain “free entry”

In the NEFL players get free entry to home game but pay to get into away games.

SFL is the same, plus cheaper entry if you're there for the junior grades

Ours is just a flat rate.....$8 entry for adults, $4 for a budget.

I personally dont mind paying, its a cheap days entertainment and if it helps keep the clubs alive then that's great for our communities and my 3 daughters growing up.

Can't be good for Elizabeth. Looking for a coach this close to the season. What's going on out there?

Agree with Ingle Farm loading up on bark to bark merch considering how easily they are going to win the flag in Div 6.. just praying Fitzroy can at least make a game of it come grand final day

I can't tell you for certain what's happening, I think at this point blokes are just leaving to avoid a sinking ship.
That is just making it worse.

We have a core group of players that just want the club to stay alive, we may unfortunately be down to 1 team for this year, but thats better than folding.
