Seems to be getting worse.

All cross roads (west-east) have slowed down dramatically in recent times. Seems they have changed the light sequencing to favour the artierals (north-south) even more.

I find after trains pass the lights sequencing goes back to north-south and not the sequencing it was up to.
I sat there for 18 mins this morning heading east on cross roads
Yeah, about a month ago I was heading East and waited a good 15-20 minutes. The train lights stayed on for ages for 2 trains even though one of them took several minutes to get to the intersection then when the boom gates went up they let the North/South traffic go through and about 20 seconds later the train boom gates came down again for another 2 trains that took forever. When they finally passed they let the North/South traffic go again

The rail crossings on that stretch of track (southwards through Edwardstown) have been that way for years. To wit:

Sending money to strangers through the bank? Bloody amateurs. I always pay my strangers with iTunes gift cards. :D

Not unexpected unfortunately.

Most cyber crime is from praying on human emotions, which is why it's such a lucrative 'business model'.

Firstly, I feel very sorry for anyone who has been scammed. No-one deserves it and it’s a great stain on society.

That said, I can understand to some extent how people are conned into parting with their money the first time, but if the scam involves you giving up large amounts of your money to a third party, multiple times, by your actions, then please don’t blame the financial institution where your funds are deposited for your demise.

In almost every time this occurs, it’s the result of your ill advised actions to provide someone else who you don’t know with either direct access to your funds by breaching the security protocols that protect them, or by authorising multiple payments to that third party.

It’s not a rational thing to have to pay money to receive money, if it’s too good to be true, then invariably, it is.

Yes, it’s tragedy that you have lost a large sum of money, but unfortunately it’s all on you.

Not everyone is as educated as some, especially old lonely people.

Me and my 23 year old Brazilian girlfriend were just discussing this last night, I can't wait to meet her after my payday on the 13th of this month, she loves me so much.

Getting to work and then remembering you left your pass and keys in your other bag at home...

On the plus side, the lock on the desk drawer was opened in 5 minutes with a couple of paper clips 8)

I broke into a State Government Data Centre many, many, many years ago with a 3 ring folder when I accidentally left the keys inside.

Was an interesting call to the DC Manager when I told them what I just did.

1. Scam callers.

I use silence unknown callers on my iPhone; today there were 5 scam calls.

The f*ckers are all blocked, but that doesn’t deter them as they use blocks of numbers.

2. Telcos

For making it so easy for scammers to buy/use blocks of numbers.

I hate using Gumtree and Facebook, but they’re somewhat necessary evils.

… and just got another one whilst typing this message.
