Sturt's game is not dissimilar to Glenelg's... but today they executed it far better. First to the contests all day, running harder, a class above. Glenelg's second-worst game sine the Lokan years.

6 goal loss arguably flattered us

Lost the possession count and tackke count shows that we were out worked today.

Full credit to Sturt they came to play we didn’t. 10 day break to regroup and go again.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

30 minutes until we see a blues fan post on this thread....

I have texted SturtPeter and asked him and the other 12 regular Sturt posters to respond but he tells me that he was all of them…

Did not see that result coming at all especially with the outs we have. If we keep playing like that we are in for a good season.

Not replacing two gun midfielders is really hurting our chances. Similar to in 2020 not replacing the guys we lost adequately. Disappointing especially when we could’ve had a dynasty over the last five or six years, not ruthless enough. Can’t understand that mentality of just thinking being around the mark is good enough and guys that play reserves will step up and replace elite players in the comp. Who knows when we’ll get another chance like we’ve had over the last five or six years.
