It's probably because six clubs have byes this week so there's only six the matches therefore a Thursday night match isn't needed? Which match in this round would you change to the Thursday night match?Eagles2014 wrote:Spargo wrote:No footy tonight.
What are the AFL doing, really is a disgraceful decision to not have Thursday night games. Even put a crap game on that most people would not watch and would still out rate NRL

Just came on here to post pinched nerves in the lower back. Usually go away after some movement but had to leave work after only an hour this morning. Getting a CT scan tomorrow as am still in pain with tingling sensations down right glute & hamstring.
PS. The reason I put the smiley face is from the drugs I've been prescribed. Woohoo
So after 2 weeks & an MRI, turns out I've got 2 bulging discs & one herniated disc.
4 weeks today & still not much better. Getting an injection tomorrow in the L4/5 disc to hopefully help with the pain so I can at least get back to work soon.

The injection has taken most of the pain away, mainly just discomfort now. If I do too much lifting etc it starts to hurt.
Had to harrow the horse paddocks which were bloody rough & that stuffed me up for a couple of days.
Did manage to get out on the motorbike (off road dirt bike) last weekend & that was ok on the smooth stuff or standing up through the rough parts. Meant to be doing a big adventure ride in August so hopefully all good by then. That's only going to be 4wd tracks through the little & big desert national parks so shouldn't be too rough

Jeez, has been a couple of months now, take it easy.
I’ve got a CT scan Monday for a suspected fractured sacrum … at least 6-8 week recovery and not even 2 weeks through.
Not fun.
