Have a funny feeling we won't be seeing Gasper again.

Didn’t think so.

You don’t think you’ve had the better of the umpires?

First to the footy most of the day, imagine if they paid it every time McHeld should get one.
7 goals up, we’re seriously not blaming umpires for the result?

I've now watched plenty of games involving Glenelg and I've never seen McFree missing out on free kicks, in fact quite often, the opposite. Case in point, Glenelg v Norwood at the Bay. He kicked a couple of goals from very soft frees.
You won't get it easy this week, I'm certain of that.

“McFree” 2024 - 20 games, 19 frees
But you watch plenty of Glenelg games

A good effort from Central to finish third.

They are hard at it and have a crack.

Glenelg are a class above and it showed today.

Should be a good GF next week.

Spargo,amBays and all other Glenelg posters congrats on getting through to the GF again
Seriously hope you win it .Your boys were far to good today and deserved their win what a bonus getting Hosie back he is a star
and Bell is a gun .
Disappointing end for us but to finish third after the past few seasons was a great effort.
We will lose players all clubs do but if we can retain as many as possible and recruit what we need
even allowing for the concessions that Port & Crows will get ,hopefully we can challenge again next season .
Again well done to you and good luck next week

Really excited for what 2025 could bring. Howe amd Thomas, both aged 20 were the highlights today moving forward.
Sharp, Dittmar and Chisholm provided toughness but (as mentioned by others) the skilled mid who delivers lace out into the fwd 50 is what we miss. Liddy, Larkins and pudney work hard but don't have that Polish.

Add East, Grant, Linke and McCormack (hopefully he stays) to this team and we will be on the right track.

I tip my lid to the dogs; they really made the Bays work for that win. Central played a torrid close-in game and held the Tigers well for three terms.

Norwood would be happy with the intensity of the game. There will be a few tired bodies in the Bays camp tonight.

Agreed Northerner you generally know whats going on with us
How many do you think we will retain from this season.
Also worried we may lose at least Sharp to Port or Crows with the u21 concessions they will be given.

the answer worries me.

Congrats to the Bays.. too experienced and hardened for us.. a bit like the dynasty years where someone like a Westies would challenge but just couldn’t combat the belief and experience we had.
Certainly not meant to sound like sour grapes but part of me almost relieved we won’t be at risk of a GF thrashing next week which was potentially on the cards for our comparatively young group who aren’t quite ready for that yet. So proud of our progression this year and today we saw couple of raw, inexperienced 20 year olds (Howe and Thomas) produce breakthrough games on the second biggest stage.. Definitely tracking in the right direction

Hazydog our CEO Greg Edwards is part of the group that will make that decision
If they cave in to Port in particular after one bad season and it makes them stronger to the detriment of our club
which is his role to look after us no one else
Then Meggsy needs to explain to everyone at the club from the board down how is that decision going to help us particularly
if we lose players because of it

Thanks to Southerbulldog

Kudos to the Dogs saw a couple of their hard working officials after the game, don’t we’ll have it that same margin this time next year if we meet in the finals again next year. Lots of respect to the CDFC

In 2018 after being ripped asunder by that wanker Lokan, grandstands being ripped down and save our skins rally to ward off the banks if you said we’d make 4 GFs in 6 years I would’ve said check yourself into Glenside!
Will be tough next week but our best is good enough

The 34 guernsey may be appropriate for 24…
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

No way they will have access to Sharp, he is still an u18 next year, the only players who can play for them have to be linked via their academies and Sharp isn't eligible. The U21 concessions are for the 19yos that miss being drafted.

He did not do a good job of explaining the AFL reserves decision to North members in 2013.
