Was hoping Gasper in,we lack genuine forwards.

Have a funny feeling we won't be seeing Gasper again.

I hope he stays. Very good player

Daughter’s birthday today, so missed the 2nd half and just catching up now.

The Bays have now reached the GF from 4th 7 times, losing at every previous attempt.

The last 4 attempts were with a 6 day break after the Prelim, so having the extra day may help. Depends how they pull up, but Norwood will have to start as massive faves.

The missus is a Legs supporter, so it could get ugly.

@Mic, if you’re offering your GF tickets … O:)

Full time.

"The Thunder can select up to 12 AFL-listed players in a finals game. To be automatically eligible, players must have played six WAFL games league games throughout the season, including two in the past eight rounds, however clubs can also request special permission in specific circumstances."

Just watched the 2nd half, the Dogs never gave up but the Bays ran the match out stronger. I don’t think Dyson Sharp will be in the SANFL for very long, plays like a 25 year old with 100 games under his belt, he’s a star in the making. 17? got to be kidding.

The Hosie gamble paid off, could have kicked 7 or 8 but he’d be rapt with the 4 he ended up with.

Couldn’t have seen this coming a month ago, so credit to the club for the way they’ve approached the finals so far. Of course, means little unless they win next week.

We play crazy, haphazard footy, like we don't have a plan, just kick it forward & hope for the best.
Glenelg had forwards that could lead forward & take marks on a lead,
that seemed to be the difference.

Not easy but need to find a big key forward.

Grace is hot and cold.....
Dudley is our best forward but being a small it can be hard to take a game apart like a big tall can.

A forward line with a good big key forward alongside Gasper (when fit), Grace, Dudley, Thomas, resting mid starts to have really good balance and allows for maybe some more system inside 50.

I reckon we have a good group of tough ball winning mids (Sharp joining up with Grant, Dittmar and Chisholm).
What we lack are the skilled mids who can work off these ball winners and lace up with precision. Currently relying on Larkins, Liddy, Pudney and Barry but none are 100% reliable with foot skills, and often fumbly.

Didn’t think so.

You don’t think you’ve had the better of the umpires?

First to the footy most of the day, imagine if they paid it every time McHeld should get one.
7 goals up, we’re seriously not blaming umpires for the result?

I've now watched plenty of games involving Glenelg and I've never seen McFree missing out on free kicks, in fact quite often, the opposite. Case in point, Glenelg v Norwood at the Bay. He kicked a couple of goals from very soft frees.
You won't get it easy this week, I'm certain of that.

go to specsavers champ, he gets held a dozen times a game, btw i have seen more glenelg games than you

a lot of people claiming the dogs got a rough deal from the magots,
frees, 26-20 glenelgs way, hardly a crucifixion,
goals from frees were 3 each,
maybe time to take the rose coloured glasses off!!
