Very sudden. He had an interview around Christmas where he said he was feeling great and felt on top of it. He was really looking forward to the coming season

Hopefully they take a swing at landing Andrew Russell. He started out life as an assistant under John Quinn, would be good to get him back.

You'd be throwing all the money to Burgess after his track record and what he has achieved at the Crows recently.

Yeah, great point, he's shown he's happy to go to the highest bidder, too.

Already come out and said he is staying at Adelaide. The first offer must not have been high enough by the bombers

He's in SA because his wife's family is here, he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

The club had known since late last year that he wished to return to Adelaide for family reasons. ( Melbourne )

He's looks thrilled with it too :

You would be stupid not to ask the question and no doubt we have. It’s obvious he is staying put so sounds like Matthew Innes will get the gig

Most excited I’ve been about the club in a long time.
Need to move Merrett and Ridley on and do this properly before Tassie come in.
I can see why Zac is unhappy and he does deserve success which he won’t see with us and unfortunately things change in a year. Make the best of the situation and get some value from him whilst we can
