How’s the dick with a poncho on that gets hit by the wave. Probably related to Mrs and Mr Einstein walking their dogs off lead at the beach.

The sand erosion already on the gold coast beaches is insane. 3m deep erosion. Not sure how they recover that?

They had some bloke on the news last night talk about an A wall on the Gold Coast, which will only let the beach erode so far. But, buggered how they get the sand back besides tidal movement

very bad on the Gold Coast. strong winds and driving rain, alot of the power is out in that area

Former tropic cyclone Alfred has been downgraded to a tropical low … still a shitload of rain coming.

I'd feel the same too if I had a pool I guess. I'm a little over continually being hot. The GF is on the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to heat etc.

She doesn't even have the fan on when she sleeps if I'm not there, I have to have it spinning that fast that it wouldn't surprise me if the roof wasn't there in the morning, she complains when I turn the aircon on in my room for half an hour before I go to bed nor does she understand why I kinda nudge her away while I'm trying to sleep as otherwise I sweat profusely with half a body blanketing me.

Granted the pool has got a workout and I know I'm lucky to have one.

More so the humidity of the last two summers wasn't my choice of how I'd like the season to roll.

I went 18months without a haircut, but this year i got shawned in November in preparation for the summer we had. We were due.

Heat over humidity
