Mariners get lit up today, giving up 5 home runs in a 13-4 loss at home, still lead 2-1 in the series.

Dodgers take a 3-0 series lead, with two games to come in LA, with today's 3-1 win over Milwaukee.

Another good starting pitching appearance for the Dodgers, this time from Glasnow, followed up by 3.1 innings of one hit relief by the bullpen (shock horror!)

Toronto up 5-1 in the middle of the 4th against the Mariners, seems both sides don't like playing at home...

Sometimes you get lucky in life, and I was parked on the lounge watching this take place live.

The noise his bat made when he hit the ball out of the bloody ballpark was insane

One of my lads reckons it could very well be one of the greatest sporting performances ever, and I don't think he's wrong.

ALCS is going to a game 7 after Toronto won today, 6 to 2.

Vlad Guerrero Jr. is the only person in the league who makes Ohtani look kinda human, batting a crazy .462 this post season with 6 home runs.

Well, that was an eventful weekend!

Game one saw the Blue Jays bats start with a bang, Snell struggled with command, a lot of his fast balls were above the zone. As a result he got his pitch count up and the Jays got to the shaky Dodgers bullpen, putting 9 runs on the board in the bottom of the fifth, en route to a 11-4 win

Game two was a complete change of pace, Gausman and especially Yamamoto dominating on the mound. A couple of solo shot homers from Smith & Muncy saw Gausman pulled in the 7th, two more insurance runs in the 8th lead to a 5-1 Dodgers win.

Yamamoto's performance yesterday was spectacular, a complete game, 8 Ks, 4 hits, zero walks and one run. He retired the last 20 batters he faced, something that has only been done 3 other times in post season history, and not since 1956. Such was his dominance he only got to a 3 ball count twice, and both of those were in the first two innings.

I love Max Scherzer's competitiveness, but I'm not sure continuing to challenge Ohtani inside is the right strategy. A double and a home run already in 3 innings...

Shohei Ohtani is the first player with THREE MULTI-HOMER games in a single Post Season.

And tomorrow he's the starting pitcher in Game 4.

Freak.

I just love reading the "Shohei Ohtani is the first player to do XXX" trivia bites.

Baseball is the perfect sport for statistical analysis, but this guy is literally beyond words...
