Jamie Smith has copped a bit of flack by a couple of posters
16 tests
27 innings
1123 runs
46.79 ave
184 highest score

An obvious talent, just a matter of time before he makes a score again

England are really paying the price right now for producing dead pitches on postage stamps for the last 3 years. Soon as you put them on anything that has some life then they look completely lost. Bring back Cummins and Hazlewood and this is going to get very ugly.

I think Hazelwood is too much of a risk injury wise presently.

Expecting Stokes tocome out this afternoon an angry man and take the Aussies on.

If he does and gets away with it could be in for some interesting cricket

He looked like a a deer in the headlights last night.

They could either fold in 30 mins or be 250 ahead. I assume there’s no ticket concession today, so you’d be pissed if you paid full tote and the Aussies didn’t bat again.

It must be said (again), the Aussies don’t have a great team but have somehow gelled well. The bowling by all was world class last night.

The Poms on the other hand, are in no-man’s land, nothing is working. The more they are criticised, the more they dig in on their dubious tactics. On paper should be giving the Aussies a hiding, but maybe they believe that and won’t do the hard work to make it happen.

Will be debated forever, but how different would the results be if they had a different coach and approach? :-??
