Missed a few short putts
Irons were ordinary.
3w - hit a pearler on 8th but outside of that im battling with it at moment.

Highlight was watching 2 youngsters at +1 and scratch belt the ball a mile and still have soft hands around greens.

Blandy in saturday comp finished -4 but was +2 as he was playing off +6

MT how do you play the 8th at Flaggy if you hit a good drive? Do you try and thread the needle on your 2nd or lay up for position? Always struggled to know what to do, if I could hit a draw consistently Im sure it would be a much easier hole.

Loaded question with many many variables here.

if i hit a good drive im left about 220m and it would be down the right hand side not far from a orange stake.

knowing the 3w has a tendency to slice/fade i will aim at the Gums up on the left.
if im confident ill aim inside the 2nd gum
if im not confident ill aim left of the first gum

anything to take the creek out of play. and then AVOID that bunker
