Clint Guy is loved by the umpires. Will poll very well in the 2nd half of the season. But will not get enough to win.

of course someone like twomey gets paid but im sure he is only on half as much as the Big C.Smelt. Pretty sure Raidis would get paid too... I reckon your coach might slip his nephew a few green backs after the game as well... thats 3 paid players want me to keep going?? Ive certainly named more than 1 kangy player that gets paid.

Nairne hardly pays any players at all mate.

All i can say is it would be awesome to see a Kersy vs Rams final... Good luck this week Rams!!

not sour grapes champ. id keep a lid on it until you win a GF... if you dont win a premiership you walk away with what 7 other teams do... s***t all! kudos for you win on sunday. pretty sure ive already said that

as for player getting paid...

smelt - club sponsor so essentially he's paying the club. actually came to play b grade footy with radar but guitink did his knee so was the next best oprion

raidis - has family in thecommunity, wife plays netball there, kids play junior sport there and knocked back money to coach the b grade.

stringers nephew - play b grade you putz!

feel free to keep naming people mate. if you find one or two legitimate names your doing well. not every club needs to play big money.

fact is kangarlla dont have that much to throw around. the vast majority of their players have played junior football there similar to nairne and kersbrook.

i know for sure m.danielle was getting good money when he played over with you guys in 2006.... logic would suggest he wasn't the only one.

there is no way in this world that the big smelt express would be travelling all the way from Mypo to play for free... I dont think he would play there without big coin if he lived in the changerooms

M.Danielle was on a bit of coin, however it was through a sponsor who he was actually working for... the money was incentives etc.

as for big smelty, he get paid in sausage rolls, 1 sausage roll for each 'sausage roll', if you get my drift, however the 109 sausauge rolls that Corey was meant to recieve was cut in half after Michael Radis found the stash...

Ex Brooker Trev Mac won his Zillionth Golden Game Wrecker Award last night and now has as many Medals as Rob Clothier

And John MacDonald took out the much sought after and prestigious Country Division Goal Umpire of the Year Award. Perhaps AFL duty beckons for this true professional.

They are apparently asking their members bf. They had a meeting a week ago which was poorly attended and those who did go had little idea of the ramifications of the move. A postal vote is supposed to be happening. I'm not a voting member so can't fill you in on much more, or if there has been an outcome. I did get told though, from a reliable source, that RMFL are extremely dubious about Cally and an acceptance is unlikely anyway.
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

Congratulations to Kersbrook getting A's and B's in to the g/f! Can they pull off the double??? Torrens Valley will be a good contest for them mixed results during the year! And Kangarilla in the B's, they have been to beat all year and they did in the semi, im sure the kangys boys will want to win this 1 and there going 4 back to back flags! Thoughts???

Kangys B grade have been the standout for the last 3 years IMO, and I'm hoping the loss they had 2 weeks ago against Kersbrook wasn't the one 'They had to have', before the GF.

The GH Lions looked good again on the W/E. Carter has been the standout for Torrens Valley in their past 4 finals campaigns and will have to be watched closely on Saturday. Should be some good match ups around the ground, and the Brookers hopefully to overcome the Cheque Book.
