Not sure if the Cove player was as innocent as you suggest. But no the ump didn't turn up so what was the point of sending him.[/quote]

Did you even see the game ZC? A bit of a wrestle doesn't warrant a blatant punch to the face. That wasn't my point, cause you knocked it on the head, why would umpires red card and report someone and then not show up to the tribunal, he was right on the spot and saw it clear as day. Does anyone get rubbed out these days, or should the SFL just srap the tribunal all together????

Wineflies are gone. Led by four goals midway through the third quarter, but Bombers grabbed it during a tight desperate final term. Only five left now (four after tomorrow)

Geez there would not be some happy campers at the vineyard, very dissapointing. Will Reynella take this result to court?? Im sure that Aish Simper has been cleared by now, how bout Jono??

If you were a credible judge, not just a div 5 wannabe someone with no concept of footy at all may pay attention to what you post.Brighton took the chances that they created and made the most of them whilst we squandered ours and ran out of legs, with no bench after 20mins into 2nd qtr.Good effort from our boys but not good enough.Good luck to the bombers next week against the emu's but 5 in a row is a distinct possibility. They will dispose BDOS and are too good for Cove when it counts.

Wineflys out hey - would seem a bad perfomance considering the recruits and the hype throughout the year coming from Wine Oval & supporters. Oh well it is always good to see black & white bow out no matter what league. Brighton get through without any injuries yesterday? On the big ovals I can see brighton causing some real trouble for opposition, I still think Morphett Vale will win the flag but I expect Brighton to be the team that plays them in the GF. Cove could prove me wrong ofcourse and probably will. Hope not though imagine how many will be genulflecting to the cobra - HISS HISS!! Good luck to all remaining teams.

Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Brighton will play Morphett Vale next week in the prelim so no chance they will meet in the grand final. Brighton will need to go up a few gears if they are to challenge Morphett Vale come the final siren. How is Hoare's shoulder?

Port led all the way. Vikings never got a look at the lead.
Those Divers sure are lethal in Semifinals !!

I told you people, just had to wait for Port's big names to fire. Should be a good chance against the Cove who will still have last years defeat in their heads.

Went and saw the 2nd half of the Divers v Vikings game today and the Divers were much, much better than the Valleys.

The Vikings didnt have a lot of structure and really struggled to create any run or break the lines.

Port on the other hand were good. Broke the lines well and Mannion played a good game up forward and Tedmanson a rock down back!!!! The young fella #10 was fantastic along with Peterson, Lenthall and Fidock all creating havoc through the midfield!

Great to see Benny Fidock doing well, used to play cricket with him at the Shoe when he was still almost young enough to be a junior, top lad, go Benny! :D

Fidock's turned into a sensation, and particularly lethal at Finals time (absolute blinder in their 2007 Semifinal execution of the Cobras, and very good again today).
No.10 was Luke O'Brien. Only played a couple of A-Grade games. Age would be no more than 17 (if that). Has a real future from what I saw of him today.

Which one is Veide??

I was impressed with Port today. They are a tall side aswell which surprised me. Guys like Luke Denton and #1 up forward are deceptively big and are quite mobile.

Great to hear, go Benny you champ! A top lad! :D
Even though he used to love playing cricket at the Shoe we never could talk him into playing footy with us, he was a CockleDiver through and through!

Young Veide did not play as he fractured his shoulder 2-3 weeks ago?? Word at the club is he might be an out side chance for the prelim.

Veide, O'Brien, Tommy Dix ----- all very young and looking good. They even got some good stuff in the Elim Final from Rhys McKay, who is barely 14 (a young 15 tops).
Suddenly there is a really exciting future down there.

Good to see Reynella did not let us down in September
Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Got to be 32 years now
I don't follow cricket, but I would guess their cricketers would be doing pretty well as their Cricketers that play Footy are ready to go out to training

Cove are certainties for the flag
