It's a good point and in an ideal world, it would be great if that was possible. Unfortunately, as noted above some clubs have no juniors or ordinary juniors bacuse of lack of numbers.

Peace has been restored at Kersbrook for a short period, as the Premiership Lads venture to Melbourne on their Footy Trip. Will Brad Pearce make Page 3 of the Herald Sun again? Votes for B.O.G on the trip should go 3- B.Pearce, 2- D.Bingos, 1- A.Benzie

Brad Pearce has won numerous B.O.G.'s on and off the ground. 'Spud' McClelland will put in another good show and J.Krake will win the Rising Star award. Will be interesting to see if all make the flight back....Probably not

 Yes heard that one after the terrible umpiring performance on Saturday

If it was genuine, they would run into the same problem as Callington joining the RMFL, with no netball sides. Plus the thrashings they'd cop each week with the import rule applied in the BG&L.

I would like to know that too hillbilly. I know several members and they don't know either. Apparently the deadline for acceptances in both leagues (HFL and RMFL) has already closed or are about to close. The deadline for members' votes on this issue closed over a week ago. I do know though, that some members were canvassed just days ago and encouraged to vote to leave HFL by various committee members. Maybe they're waiting till the odds tilt their way?

Would be well known to most by now and while some people seem to think we don't know what we're in for, that is certainly not the case as we already have people involved with the club who know him personally.

Made for an interesting presentation night as I don't think there would have been too many times in our history where a new coach had been appointed before presentation night. FWIW I feel it's a good appointment for us and while I'm sure there will be some noses put out of joint during his tenure, we're going to need a coach like that if we are to improve.

Have Callington got a new coach yet.
A Barnett sacked midyear, coached by D Jenner for the remainder...
Not sure if the club would continue with Jenner, dont know if Jenner will continue with the club.

Costly two years I would have thought!

John Jarrett from south coast was mentioned as cally coach.

The whole cally saga should be made into a mini series. But I quess you have to say well done to those who keep the show going.

I beleive there is a fair split over where they should go next year.

Spot on bf. Ever since Cally's inception there has always been just a handful who keep the show going, yet hundreds who whinge about the way they do it. Nevertheless, they never disappoint in the Soapie department! The club is apparently split down the middle, with not enough personnel on either side to make it happen next year wherever they are. Threats of resignations everywhere if they go and even more if they don't.

At the present no-one knows nuffin'. And after a few more warm days no-one will care

Word from down South, is that after the successful recruiting of Sitters and Smitheran, that the Cheque Book Valley could again raid Reynella. Their current skipper could be persuaded to jump ship, and understand he is a Mail Medalist. Anyone heard similar?

A. Barnett wasn't sacked LC. He agreed to lay low and pretend to be sacked as an alternative to the club facing a hefty fine from HFL for playing an unregistered or suspended player. He continued to coach from behind the fence every week. However, he definitely won't be about in 2009 (if the club are about at all)
