Was that the outer side pocket mt79? The group with the flags etc? Either way dissapointing to hear. Most North supporters are aware of an individual who needs to pull his head in at times.

Don't write off Prospect because of one incident though. Plenty of other places to watch from.

One guy in the group apparently has already been thrown in jail because of his behavior on a previous day, makes you wonder why the club would bother letting them back in.

i guess they need everybody they can get to there games.

That was the worst display of behavior from supporters from any club!!!!!!!!!

Disapointing to hear that and I'm not condoning any poor behaviour, but were they fighting with opposition supporters? inciting violence?
Another group of supporters from the leafier suburbs has gained a bit of a reputation for fighting, so to say "That was the worst display of behavior from supporters from any club!!!!!!!!!" would be a big call if it was just the language used.

Whilst not condoning it (it sounds like the bloke we call "Angry" in the cheer squad, and can I just point out to those who might make assumptions that the Grog Squad stand at the other end of the ground ie the Southern End) there is a weird new thing you can do these days mighty tiger 79 and its called "moving".
Why not got support your team again when you can simply move 50 metres away and enjoy the game, seems like you're looking for a cop out to not go again?
And it doesn't take too much intelligence to work out why myself and most regulars on here stand at the Southern End, common sense champ, get a grip.
I would suggest you don't stand anywhere near the Sturt and Port cheersquads as they make Angry and his bunch look like Girl Guides.

The ironic part of your whinge is there wasn't one person standing in the Family Friendly Area today.

BTW while I think of it, well done to some of the Snouts today for coming down the Southern end and saying gudday, we had some Bays fans there for most of the game and they were accepted well.
Matty in the first quarter, and Steve and a couple of others later and good to briefly catch up with Borat at 3/4 time.
Sorry I was too slack to return the favour lads, it was nice and warm in the "Grenville Dietrich" grand stand next to the Grogs.

You obviously haven't been to Elizabeth in quite some years, that is a regular occurance out that way. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Having been to prossie myself earlier this season i think there is far worse places to watch a game of footy.

I applaud you wedgie. I agree that's exactly why they have made family friendly areas. Personally I've never had problems at prossie. I think it's a great place to watch the footy.

Agreed mate, and look at these lovely North supporters at the game today, they look sweeter, warmer and friendlier than a nursing home full of old ladies!

PS They must be friendly as that Glenelg fan in the background survived!

'Angry' is the guy i was talking about and at times he takes things too far. I'm sure most North fans will agree that he needs to pull his head in. Yes there are worse supporter groups but that doesn't make his and his groups behaviour OK. You can't justify poor behaviour by saying that some people are worse. Yes mt79 could have moved but he shouldn't have to.

Just be grateful he didn't bare his arse cheeks at you!

MT79, I believe Mal is blaming all of this on the Telstra Doom surface!

!

MT79 there is this area sponsered by Savings and Loans you can go to if you are one of the more christian bay supporters. I for one found all the Norf supporters of good humour with a touch of sarcasm. Nothing wrong with that!!

i do realise that there is a family friendly area and where we were standing it would have been the same distance away, if we were in the family area to where we actually were, so we still would have still heard it quite easily.

i dont mind swearing and if its in the correct context and a bit of banter between supporters is good, but they just go too far.

It looks like the players had a bigger issue with the Snouts than the North cheersquad! he he
(I think Hargs enjoyed kicking this goal from near the boundary where the Snouts were standing;))

(be patient , this is 1.86mb but well worth it- thaks to Wessie from The Roost!)

Looks like he's acting out a Nursery Rhyme

"One little duck went out one day,
Over the hill and far away....."
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
