If they don't serve time, the justice system can officially be declared redundant (if it's not already). Yatala in maximum security with just 5 bars of soap each....Day job ? Clean the showers with said soap.....

I just had an idea... since these dickheads think they are so tough beating up the old flamingo.. why not throw them in (with their mobile phones) to the lions/tigers enclosure.. see how tough they are then .... :?

A few years ago a young bloke was prosecuted for killing a fairy penguin he took from Granite Island - he shoved it in his backpack, took it to a party, showed it off and then one way or another it died.

Don't forget though - there are people who do this to domestic pets as well...

I reckon those kids should be put in the Flamingo exhibit themselves for a week - made to stand on one leg for hours at a time and squirm as the punters file slowly past with plenty of chin music, digital cameras and the option to buy rotten fruit to 'feed' to the exhibits. I reckon it would rate pretty highly too if it was screened on the net via CCTV!
