I chose the first option. It's quizzes not a comp to see who can look stuff up the quickest or whatever. There's enough variety of quizzes and punters that between us we should be able to answer most of the questions without having to try and cheat imho.

I have occasionally used google and wikipedia only to verify answers before I submit them. In this case I google my answer, not the question.

For example, say a question is "Who founded the Salvation Army?" and I think the answer is "John Wilkes Booth" but I'm not overly sure, then I might type the name into google/wikipedia. In this case I find out I was wrong (he killed Abraham Lincoln), so I don't bother submitting an answer.

I don't see this as a problem. Better that than flooding the quizzes with reams of half-arsed guesses for Mitty to wade through.

BTW, the answer was "William Booth"

No. Kinda defeats the purpose.

I'll use Google to find the answer to a question I'm dying to know, but I won't post it.

Only if it gets down to the last few answers, you're bored, and no one has replied in a few days.
Just to get it completed :D

However...

It's usually just a mad rush for me.
If I see a new quiz up... I'm there trying to get in all the answers I know before the smart people come along :))
