Bulldog, i wasn't refering any of these players could play a grade or that they are a loss to if, i was just responding to interested observer. Why do you think they are playing super rules---- too old too slow. i'm sure you'll see them all out supporting their doggies this year.

Ingle Farm v Trinity @ Gawler River from 12pm Sunday...have heard Trinity may be a bit undermanned but should still be a good game to watch.

As for the farmers playing superrules, i believe Mooney, Collins, Mallia, Lucivero, Mesecke, Stanton and Tutthill have all been training at East Demons and Hawksworth will play for IF and ED as he has for 3 or 4 years now. Word out of Athelstone is they are looking pretty strong this year.

Okay OF. out of the names you have mentioned who would stand up and be a good A-Grade footballer. Leave the old guys out of it there past it, Time for youth it might take 6 yrs of pain but just ask David Parkin about youth.

Dont think O.F. talking about these blokes playing anything other than super rules. As for the rest of your post

IF written off already........good motivator for the boys, just the way we like it starting as underdogs with nothing to lose and only way is up for us, hopefully we can surprise a few tall poppies!

Did'nt write you off mate, don't twist my quote to suit your argument. I said there has not been much hope on here, the real truth is that no one knows what others are going to be like. More so aiming my quote directly at the clubs that claim they will be top threats, even though it's still 3-4 weeks till round 1.

well you wrote us off LK..

I don't think there is anyone on this forum that would disagree with you on this point. It's a pity the Farmers cannot squeeze one more year out of the champ. The younger players would stand a lot taller and learn a lot from having him around.

is ben haliday playing back at elizabeth.

mount absolutely destroyed us when we played ingle farm second time round would have had at least 35+ possessions

yeah he was super against us last year, strong,gr8 footyn brain, but unfortunatley too many waited for him to do the work. I think he started his own bisiness up and cannot affords to get injured, trent Ormond Allen informed me...

An undermanned IF side went down in both A & B grade by a few goals to Trinity.

A grade game was lost in the middle with IF not having a ruckman and was easily beaten.
B grade showed great signs, after a nervous first quarter they pegged Trinity back, could be in for a good year.

Fitness was the major factor for both sides though, needs to improve by round one.

Had a sus of the Elizabeth v Brahma Lodge game today. A bit of biff and the game was played on a paddock but good hitout. I reckon Elizabeth were happy to get some of the cobwebs out, pretty tricky conditions aswell. Looked like Keithy Taylor running around for Elizabeth, would I be correct there LM?? If it is thats a fair loss, every time we play you blokes he hits those packs a million miles an hour and tears us a new a**hole

That would be Keith Kelly, I only heard last night that he has been out at Elizabeth, the season hasn't started yet and he has been known to have a bit of a sniff around at other clubs. Great bloke and gives 100%, we'll see what happens.

Seems the Eagles' coach wasn't entirely happy with his charges either - had a bit of go at the them during the game apparently.

That could well be the crux of the problem at the Farm.
Sounds a bit like the mindset's not quite right and near enough is good enough for a lot of them.
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?
