South benefited from these players the most, especially the Grand Finals in 06 and 07
Nuriootpa defeated GC in the Grand last year after a brilliant season from GC

Ban Centrals Players from the comp if they are playing at Elizabeth.

You can't ban them because they play at the Dogs. However the amount of games required to qualify for finals should be increased.

well this problem could be solved if centerals picked the best team possible and stayed with it. then they might win more games also.

Seems to be a bit of an exodus of players from Doggyland from what I hear too. My word was only 60 players were out for most of the pre-season. Far cry from the 120+ when I was out there in '06 an '07.

The option of playing senior footy is there, but didn't mention anything about playing.

Had the option at kapunda aswell, with a top notch coach and a good group of seniors footballers.

How will Willaston travel in season 2009?
We haven't said much about them.
Coach has left for Robertstown, any word on the new coach?
Any new players or recruits etc...

Yep, I'd have to agree there. Smith isn't anywhere near the standard of BL&G A grade. Mid-Murray is probably equivalent to BL&G Reserves.

Richard Rosewall has gone there from South but I understand that he's only playing A-Grade.

I heard that Ash Parsons and other South Players were only going to Willaston if Cossie was coaching South and same with the A's coach.
Now Cossie has gone, will they stay at South with the A's coach there?
Apparently he causes more harm than good

I think Willaston may be on the edge of the four. It's pretty much a lottery as to who gets fourth spot. Willaston, Tanunda, South, Angaston could be any of those sides.
Go easy on Kapunda, Quack! They have a really young side this year but there are a few very talented lads in there.

KEY QUESTION:

Will this seasons (2009) competition of U17s be as strong and as competitive as 2008?
