Enormous game for the club this week. To get a win, play finals footy and send the tiggers into mothballs would be very sweet. Very worrying is the injury to Kenna though, although Archard should return refreshed and ready to go. The wide open expanses of Adelaide Oval will suit our legspeed. GO PANTHERS!

id like to think that the mighty bays will have another victory over the panthers and make it a clean sweep against them this year.

Well,I'd like to think that the mighty panthers will send the tatty tigers into mothballs with a timely victory on Saturday/Sunday...?
From last time Glenelg will be missing BOG ,the loyal Matthew Clarke, Douglas,Logan and Willits. I would say that Kenna is in serious doubt for the panthers. If someone from south decides to pick up Backwell when he sneaks away 30 m forward of the stoppages it will go along way to a panther victory.

Douglas, Logan and Willits will be too big a loss for the Bays - they struggle with depth. South easily.

YES THe players mentioned above will be a loss and we do struggle with depth, but the players who have come up for those players have performed ok.

I think we will comfortably win and earn our place in the finals.

in 2 games we've played south CUPIDO - (million $$$$$$$$ man) has had about a dozen possessions in both games and only score a point i believe. also south have had opportunities to beat us in both games but have failed when the tiger pressure was applied!!!!!!!!!!

Pity this isnt a double header anymore, should be a good game. I reckon the Bays will just get up.

The first game was played in a howling awkward gale and the second in the rain at the Bay. We had our chances in both matches, given some favourable conditions and the large Adelaide Oval if we can get a run on going we will be hard to stop.

in the first game i didnt think the breeze was that bad and considering SOUTH were 28 points in front heading into time on of the 3rd 1/4, it would be a game they would look back on as one that got away.

the 2nd was played in true footy conditions, freezing arctic breeze and windy!!!!!

Id like to think that we are suited also to the Adelaide Oval, we've been there once for a win against the doggies.

south had a run on going in the 2nd game at glenelg oval but glenelg stopped the south onslaught and booted 7 or 8 goals in as many minutes.

WCP the conditions you described for the first 2 games are what you normally expect from games played at NOARLUNGA.

i must say that with the car around the ground plan the weather has been generally quite good on match days which has made a change.

DUTCHY - I THINK SOUTH MIGHT PUT A ROOF AND PLAY INDOORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!since they dont like playing footy in footy weather.

Any SANFL fan up to date with things would know South play a high possesion, handball orientated style of footy. This style is obviously suited to dry, crisp conditions which you normally get in September. Given a fine day, our chances of winning improve......
