That was his first 'A' grade game wasn't it? Poor bugger weighs all of 35kg as well. He's still U/18's as well isn't he?

I think it was his second. I was down there with Barts and said to him he was too small to be playing in the A's, 2 minutes later that happened.

Pooraka have a few players that go back and forth from the mines but I would think there is prob only 3 that play A grade. Injuries have been a concern in the last few weeks more so. The club has a ridiculous amount of players on the sidelines at the moment in all grades. A grade there are between 6-10 out. Of the top of my head they are: Coles, Wilton, Watts, Russell, Moore (hasn't played at all yet) and Hosking. All did not play last week in the win over GG. Most will come back through B grade in the next few weeks.[/quote]

Good win for Greenies over CBCOC at Cambelltown oval yesterday. CBCOC came out in each quarter full of run and would kick the first 3 or 4 goals and greenies would peg them back and go into the breaks even or a few points up. Good effort by our boys, some would say we got out of jail again but the players have a solid belief that they can run over teams late in every quarter and be in front when it matters.

Not sure CBCOC handled the hard body that well either and I think they may have few injuries as a result

All in all a good game played in good spirit..well done CBCOC and even better done by Greenies

I only watched the 1st quarter and CBC were matching you body for body. Was a good quarter with CBC missing too many goals. Must admit, there were a lot of big guys in both sides

The only CBC injury I saw was King Kong stepping on the ball and landing on his neck.........

What lost CBC the game last week was errors which come from pressure, not taking anything away from Acres, i dont think bodies were an issue. Only got 2 injuries from last weeks game bloke with a sore neck and another with an ankle the size of a balloon.

Not sure about the rat bit, I never said these blokes weren't playing this week, the post says they didn't play last week which is true.
Coles, Wilton and Hosking back in this week but the others are still out. We also lose Kirkwood (Ruck)and Cummings from last weeks side through working in the mines this week.

Also just want to give a big congrats to Leigh Crawford and David Olds who were named Captain and Vice Captain of our B grade side last night. Had 5 nominated captains and did the traditional voting system (Raise your hand) by b grade players and both very deserved of the positions and both have been envolved with the club for a long time.
