As a neutral observer who attended yesterday's games, I wouldn't go that far. I think #7 up forward had a dirty day, getting cleaned up a couple of times. The rucks probably broke even. So we'll give you 19.5/21.

Plympton very impressive, not a lot of massive bodies out there but an extremely smart and disciplined team.

well done to a few valley boys on milestone games just recently, ash burch (100) scott dykstra (150) jordan pepper (150) yesterday with a 5 goal game. this week sees ex skipper dan ward notch up his 150. all good loyal clubmen who can be proud of their achievements and contributions to the demons

Disappointing end for the Smithfield B grade yesterday. Hope Valley led virtually all day but I think the margin was still only 6 goals at 3/4 time. Well done to them they dominated the last quarter.

Our A grade is struggling for various reasons, thought they showed a lot of heart yesterday though and never gave up the fight. HV were just too good in the end. Both games were played in good spirit.

While I dont think we played our best footy yesterday, hats off to Smithfields B grade. They are a very young side and had a real crack. Good signs for the future me thinks.

Sorry.Did I type to fast for you?

I thought it was simple really, I have sons who play at IF. If I were a senior player or had sons who played senior football,I would be asking, that, if NEMJFA see fit to cancel ALL Junior Football games AND training sessions due to the closure of the Black Friar School, which supply a large amount of players to NEMJFA, then is it safe for the seniors to play players who may well have children who attend this very school?
All it was from my understanding, was a simple line of enquiry made by the senior president and his committee on behalf of their players, and someone big and brave behind a computer screen see's fit to announce him as a softc*ck on the internet. Give yourself a little pat.........on the back that is!

There you go Mr Ash Man.I trust my second post is up to your standard and simple to read and follow.
Have a great day.

all sunday junior grades with blackfriars students have been cancelled from my knowledge

Thats correct mate.
My wife received calls from our sons coach's on Saturday morning informing us of the situation.
No games and no training until further notice.
Not being a medical expert,I guess we need to rely on the professional's to make these calls.
I hope the kids from BF are well, safe and up and running around very soon.

PS...sorry to hear about the nonsense that occured during the seniors game. Not what we need to hear from a club perspective and certainly not setting an example to all our kids.

I see his point.

Thankyou Footy Chick and Flipper for your support.
I have been reading this forum for a while now but was reluctant to post considering some of the immature posts made by some members on this forum over time, bagging the Ingle Farm Footy Club. Obviously a few here have axes to grind....thats their problem. Its a shame they feel fit to publish such comments on a forum such as this.
My family and I have had a great time being associated with this club in such a short time and have made some great friends. The seniors are going through a rough trot,no question, but hey, they are fielding sides every week and the younger seniors will learn from this.
Anyway, thanks again.I wish not to stir trouble and hope I can contribute in a positive manner.
Have a great day.

Westminster got smashed! I picked em and thought at home they would take it right up to Plympton. Plympton are travelling very nicely at the minute and look to be the team to beat.

Pretty interesting results this week!!

Was anyone at the WOS/Plympton game? Were Plympton good or WOS bad? Looking at the score it looks like it could have been a close game if WOS had kicked straight. Also notice WOS B Grade dropped their first game for the year. Plympton look to be genuine front runners at the moment.

Also quite surprised by the Hope Valley Reserves game. Would have expected them to win that match, let alone get beaten by 106 points!

The scores were the wrong way round Possum.

The scores were correct in the paper but they ladder was wrong. Thats probably why they ladder looked a bit skewed.

Yes the boys did get sucked in a few times by retaliating but certainly weren't the instigators, thought BOS were good at dishing it out but didn't like getting it back and as for the alleged headbutt thought contact had to made to be an incident. Looking at the size of his forehead the BOS player certainly wouldn't have woken up until next week if there was contact and I certainly didn't see a BOS player go down or come off with blood or even a trainer attend the player for treatment.

Jeez Prawn u get far too excited!!!

I watched the 1's and the difference i saw was the skills, WOS missed a lot of bodies with their kicks, and dropped some marks that werent simple, but should have been taken.

WOS kicked a lot of points but thats because they were under so much pressure from plympton's backline. Even though they had pretty much the same amount of scoring shots as Plympton you could just sense that WOS weren't really in the game, after quarter time anyway (WOS were 2g up at qtr time).

Your kidding aren't ya. Kooka's travelling very poor and have done in last few years. Should have gone down to Div 6 as they are a Div 6 standard. Have no idea how FC or LM could have tipped kookas last week. Understand how zed can do it, but he has an excuse. The last 3 pre seasons I have heard.... kookas look alright this year etc etc..... but unfortunately same old story... just not good enough

dosent matter if you come off with blood or not...obviously the umpire saw contact as he was pretty much 5 metres away from. if he thought no contact was made im sure he wouldnt of given him a red card

Agreed, no 15 (i think) did a great job on Perrie. I have seen Pulteney on 2 other occasions this year and Saturday they were rubbish. Saying that it was due to Rosies pressure, and it was relentless. Little no 1 was sensational - fast!! No good with no's sorry but no 23 was very influential and i thought Rumbles was very solid too. Good spirit shown by the Dogs!

emerson: for the second time..only one team was relegated because edwardstown went to the sfl..you cant choose your grades..you have to take what is dished up with no correlation to having a good team or a bad team..we are in div 5 so we have to deal with it..i didnt tip kookas either..i actually said elizabeth would be in front at the end..FC and LM were right to tip us on speculation..it was a close game all day as i said yesterday..2 goals at half time and 3 goals at 3/4 time..the better team won on the day but i can tell you now all the elizabeth guys had to fight for it and if we had the 5 players we lost from the farmers game in the team as well who knows what would have happened..

should we all just give up?

why dont you come out and help?..you played many A grade games with us and your experience could help on a tuesday or thursday night.. we have a very young group of A graders with over 10 juniors playing senior football this year as well..the invitation is there if you want it..back at ya!
