But anywhere where you can watch the game from the bar/balcony would be my pick.

human blanket #3 wrote:being biased but heccies would be up there. balcony on the centrewing, good bar facilities and upward sloping hills surrounding the boundary giving a closed effect.
dont mind PNU (prob a lil bit similar to heccies) and really any oval with a balcony makes for good viewing with the exception of CLG (deep in the pocket and 20m from the boundary) but i guess thats because they are in pefect posistion for the baseball/softball field i think.
also would like to mention ttg and the big net they have behind the goal. makes it a hell of a lot easier when your a boundary ump!!!

Down the Hill wrote:We could have had the sloped terraced balcony such as the Rugby Club over the back and Rostrevor and Goodwood, but the significant added cost would have meant compromising other aspects of the clubrooms such as the commercial kitchen. Plus it would have lowered the undercroft area where the changerooms, BBQ & Canteen are located, which wouldn't have been ideal. One negative with a sloped/terrace balcony, at least for footy, is that it virtually forces the punters to sit. Our balcony allows for standing and those high tables and stool that we have. So all up we have no complaints with the end result.
