Auto did i read correct, was that you with a mountain of runs? If so congrats!!

Also Central Mission showed that a game isnt won until its won and dont count ANYONE out, after a superb bowling and fielding effort in which seaton were restricted to 65, the batsmen showed complacency and a lack of desire and application to chase the runs and we lost.

More humiliating was the 5 ducks in the innings and people coming off laughing or joking about it and relying on the tail to chase the low total. Disgusting and disgracefull performance and hopefully we bounce back from it.

Also seen Enfield play, looked to have the game in the bag at 3/105 chasing 170 with Mark Woolcock and Marty Reynolds setting a soild foundation but unfortunately came up short.

Lastly if my mail is accurate Paralowie with a player membership base of 3456,466,565 this season took the field in the A grade with only 7 players...

7 runs.. 2nd top score ahahaha :P 7 out of 41 = 1/6th of the total runs that is the equivilant of a solid 50 if our team made 300 hahahahahahaha

Had 4 out with work and 1 was injured. It worked out well though, bowled Morialta out for 111 and we reached the target with about 8 overs to go.

Thanks Phantom. I didnt come down to B grade to be a hero but we were a bit short of batters y'day so i chose to open and scored a few. With some players coming back ill take a step back and let others do the majority of work. Think we played 4 lads 19 years old and under (incl. 2 15 yo's) y'day so well keep going with these lads and build some depth into the club. And get our B grade into Div 3 where it should be IMO.

Bored, you didn't miss much by not getting the paper - I counted at least 20 mistakes in the results!

Allegedly, NE Knights scored 812 against Para Vista As!

There is a link to the results summary on the website (http://ccca.sa.cricket.com.au). Full results will be up once everyone has submitted their match reports.

Yes, congratulations to Auto for making a stylish 120 not out and taking two wickets.
Is there any truth though that Fitzroy are going to rename their B-Grade the Autoroys since one player made over 75% of their runs and took half their wickets? ;)

Also, what was Pidge doing down in the Bs after his breakthrough season in A-Grade last year? I guess he couldn't resist another crack at bowling to me. :)

"Booga" - He's from Queensland so not related to the Para Vista Janetzki's as far as I know.

Its safe to say you would have been more worried about the better bowler down the other end Ecky. I was pretty average.

We only started with 7 on the field but as the day went on a few more players rocked up. Every year we always struggle with players for first couple of weeks. Usually its due to the footy trip but last weekend was due to alot of players working or being injured from footy.

With Morialta, I reckon they will struggle all year. They tried hard all day, but only really had one decent batter and a couple of decent bowlers. Apparently they lost heaps to Gepps Cross or something. They had quite a few Indians playing for them on the weekend. I must say, them lads do get excited on the field. Wether it be a wide or was left by the batsmen, there was alot of oooohhhhh and aaahhhhhhs and alot of chatter.

although there could be 1 huge pick up for us that had played at the highest level of cricket there is but for now its still just a maybe! hopfully it comes through tho. will be huge for us
