Our A Grade has about 6 players out for this game, we are still confident though that we can keep our 100% record alive this season against Adelaide Lutheran.

Fitzies A's batted and made 215 against Methos. Fitzies B grade made 178 with Brooklyn Park 2/13 at stumps. In a good sign for the future of our club young matty sandford made 61. Pidge and Toddles have 1 wicket each overnight but i plan to cage them for the week and only let them loose Satdee at 12:59. Fitzies C grade bowled out Enfield for 108 and are 6/70ish in reply.

The scores that were phoned in are available from the website even before they appear in the Sunday Mail!

Even though we (NEKCC) had Lee Mills, Russel Gorski, Scott Clune, Anthony Gatt out of the A's we still managed to roll Adelaide Lutheran for 104, we are 2 for about 90 in reply so we are looking the goods for at least 1st innings

Ran into an old friend who is a very reliable source ......told me that last season there was a tribunal hearing for a player who was accused of doing something wrong, he didnt bother to show up to the tribunal. His captain was there and said yes he did do what he was being accused of. He was found guilty and suspended for the rest of the season. He appealed the decision to the exec. and the date for the appeal was set. This player did not bother again to show up to his appeal so the exec, in their infinate wisdom decided that their was insufficient evidence to suspend the player ( mainly because he wasnt there ) so the decision to suspend the player was upheld. Ecky do you have any info regarding this? If this is true, then why have a tribunal all?

Sounds very messy, surely witnesses, those involved could be called and evidence given and thgen a decision made, without the accused being there, it's called expar'te and happens in Courts of law world wide when the accused doesnt turn up and penalties are givcen out

Surely if someones made a complaint AND all the correct paperwork is done AND the players own captain agrees AND the player doesnt turn up then he should be made to walk the plank.. er face the consequences.
