Red Jumpsuit Aparatus were sic as expected.

saw them at soundwave few years ago and were just as good even in a tiny room.

red beard who played before them were crazy, really enjoyed their set.

Yeah got there for down with the ship
My sisters know the drummer so I wanted to see them coz she had to cancel last minute coz my niece was sick.

I think down with the ship have potential but to be honest was not a great set by them.

Sounds issues and seemed like they were trying too hard on stage.

But I'm pretty keen to here them again. Wouldn't mind gettin a cd if they have one.

The Drummer is my son, I'll pass on the feed back to him.

Thy have done a demo but I think they are all out CDs atm, check out their Facebook page, there is links to recordings on there. They are planning on recording a EP early in the new year, the sound quality should be better than their early recordings, If you want to see them again this year, they only have 1 more gig before recording the EP, Black Market early December (12th or 13th Dec IIRC)

BIG DAY OUT 2014 ADDS NEW ARTISTS

Joining Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire, Blur, Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion, Flume, Tame Impala and Northlane...

We are so excited to welcome back the one and only PRIMUS, whose appearance at the 3rd ever BDO still makes highlight lists of the festival's best ever performances. Armed with what can only be described as a unique breed of spiral drum crazy, bass-slappin' rock; Primus has mesmerized, influenced, and occasionally confused, bands everywhere!

VISTA CHINO (or Kyuss by any other name),led by John Garcia and Brant Bjork, have influenced thousands of rock bands all over the world and are set to unleash their desert stoner rock across the Big Day Out.

Leaders of the Australian hip hop scene BLISS N ESO have scored platinum selling #1 albums and ARIA awards, turning them into a force to be reckoned with. Emcee KERSER has been making waves with his last album knocking some of the world's biggest pop acts off the top of the iTunes charts and, coming back from an incredible run on the Big Day Out 2013, 360 is joining us in Adelaide for a very special one off performance.

THE DRONES, one of the most important Australian bands in recent history with their single 'Shark Fin Blues' deemed the greatest Australian song by a poll of 70 contemporary songwriters. Those Brazilians in CSS may be tired of being sexy, but we definitely do not tire of their high-energy new-wave-dance-rock tunes that bring summer to our stereos all year round. Australian favourites BLUEJUICE are fun personified and we are SO excited (and maybe a little bit terrified..) of what they are going to bring along for the ride.

VIOLENT SOHO have had a huge couple of months since the release of Hungry Ghost and are showing no signs of slowing down. Fellow-Brisbaneites THE JUNGLE GIANTS and Melbourne's ALL THE COLOURS are packing their bags, guitars in hand, and joining in all the fun that truly makes it a Big Day Out!

Cheers Ian.
Def would be keen to see them again.

I reckon they are only gonna get better.

Dunno what was up with sound issues at gig but that was the main issue IMO.

I don't have Facebook but I'll get missed to check them out for me. Cheers.

Blur have pulled out of the Big Day Out, citing problems with event management.

One of the greatest Adelaide bands of all time, The Screaming Believers, is playing a reunion gig at the Governor Hindmarsh on Saturday January 4th 2014.
If you hung around the Union Hotel in the early 80s come and relive some great memories,if you didn't come and see what all the fuss was about.

My mistake, someone last week replied to an old thread on FL and as I hadn't visited that site in awhile assumed it was a recent thread and that Dresden Dolls were coming out again

Some prick decided to do a post in it even though the last post is nearly 2 years old.

Here was the thread:
