King of the North & the Mark of Cain put on an excellent show at the Gov on Friday night

They have a few more dates on this tour around the country so get out to see them if you get a chance.

KOTN are also playing back in Adelaide late January.

Haha....no, although I had a crack and started to catch up while he was on stage. Seems as though the night before was actually yesterday morning too.

Good gig, wasn't it?

Phil is pretty good when flying solo. He's great up front of the 'Grinners, but he's pretty talented in his own right.

$8.70 beers though!! FFS

Yeah, seemed like he'd enjoyed his night & day in Adelaide prior to the gig. Well that's at least what I picked up from the bits of that story I could understand!

Phil was awesome, was very impressed.
I went as more of an UL fan, was reasonably impressed, but I've seen him better. I know him having a few drinks is part of the show, but it bordered on going a bit far last night at times!
Was really good when they were on stage together. Phil seemed to straighten Scott up a bit!
I think the show would've worked a bit better if they almost went song for song & interacted thru out instead of the separate. That's splitting hairs tho!

I was well behaved last night, being a designated driver, but I do remember it being fairly hefty when I went to Shihad the previous month!

Yep, Russo was just passed the point of entertaining drunk, not quite to the point of being embarrassing but close.

I think Phil has cleaned his act up a bit over the last few years, certainly limits the substances now...I think. ;)

Russo gets messed up pretty regularly here. He was shithouse last time I saw UL.

Was that with Suicidal Tendancies? I missed that one.
I was talking to someone who played in the support act & he was reportedly "rocking" on in the corner most the day prior...
Pretty common knowledge that Russo's problems have led to the long term members of UL moving on.

Wasn't too bad the time before when I saw them.
