New Zealand look like they are on the way up in the test rankings.

Smashed West Indies who were ranked higher than them and lead India in current series.

There team does not look too bad Williamson, Taylor, Mccullum and Anderson all can play their bowling attack also looks all right they just need to find an opener or 2

Agree, though Rutherford who is opening is a real good sort imho, has a very decent county record, given time I think he can produce that at test level

Also think they're short a genuine quick. None of their bowlers push the 140s regularly enough.
Boult, Wagner, Southee all medium-fast and Anderson slower than them.
Do like the look of the spinner but bowls too many pies. Turns the pill though.

On the rise definately but beating a couple of sides who have terrible away form doesnt convince me yet. Will be interesting to see how they go on the road in the next 12 months, reckon that will give us a better idea of their form

Sodhi averages 50+ in first class cricket, amazing he gets a game.

Adam Milne can bowl quick but is injured a lot.

250 on the final day will be tough - if NZ can push that to 300 they will be in the box seat
